I own a 2014 Chevy Silverado. VIN: [xxx]. the ac stopped cooling. One day it was ice cold. The next day it blew hot air. I talked to my dealer and they say that it's a know issue and that GM issued a tsb for repair guidelines but have yet to issue a recall. They say the repair is between $1000 and $1800. They said I could get a refund if a recall is issued later on. They said they would look up the tsb number for me, but have not yet to given it to me. Looking at multiple forums I see many owners have the same issues. Several say they got the issue repaired and their paperwork stated "performed pit5337". most threads mention that this is a known mfg flaw with the hose bracket for this model. The flaw allows the hose fitting to crack over time. It appears that GM includes a support bracket with the new hose as part of the repair. That replacement bracket is GM23264893. I have an appointment with my dealer to have my vehicle checked to confirm that my issue is caused by this flaw. The did say that they have had 8 vehicles in for this repair. The dealer is ray Chevrolet in foxlake, il. 847-537-3300. Once I saw how many hits I got on my google search for this issue, I was shocked that there is still no recall. Please help. Thanks, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

I noticed that the heater doesn't work in the truck when it is cold outside. Today it is 23 degrees and it didn't work. Seems the lower the speed of the fan the warmer the air is. It actually warmed up in the truck while driving when the fan speed was off.
