The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated while driving approximately 45 MPH, the rear windshield shattered without warning. The vehicle was taken to a dealer but was not inspected by the dealer. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was approximately 89,000.
