The tie rods on my 2015 needs to be changed out. I just don't think that they would go out that quick, being that most of the miles are highway miles because it's mainly used for road trips. I stopped to get a wheel alignment and was told that the tie rods were bad and needed to be replaced. I'm sorry, but that's just poor parts and manufacturing.

Guess I'll join the Club on 2015 Silverado. Back to the dealer three times they tell me it's how the truck is designed. This thing spells my water at 60 mph on highway.. Was going to default my loan to the tune of $8000 but I think I'll load up on lemons instead. Anyone getting any real answers.

The 2015 Silverado has shook and rattled, since new.- mainly the interior (console) and overall within the cab. I had truck at dealer for balance and to check roundness of tires. I then went to tire manufacturer and they were helpful but found nothing. They think it is the suspension. I think it maybe the transmission, driveshaft, and or torque converter. Going back to dealer. If anyone has found cure, please let us know.

In January of 2016 I bought a new 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Last years model and was the dealers demo truck with 320 miles on it. There were vibrations here and there and really noticed it between 70-80mph. Speed limit in Utah is 80mph. Faster I would drive the more it would shake. At first I thought it was just the tires or possible snow or ice in the tires. I was moving to Arizona for a new job so I went in had them balanced and NO CHANGE. I then had from the dealer a 2 inch front leveling kit installed for looks and moved to Arizona.
I read all the complaints on carcomplaints.com and figured there was no fix. Around 7200 miles I got my oil change and wanted the tires balanced at the dealership and they said they would charge. I told this was a suspension problem or tires and finally got them to check it out. They replaced the driveshaft and said there was NO CHANGE and they replaced 2 tires that had the most wear and balanced all 4 tires and still NO CHANGE and if not a WORSE ride then before. The Chevrolet Dealership made up the excuse that since the leveling kit is not a factory leveling kit that I would have to drive to the Utah dealership and have them uninstall the leveling kit before GM will try and fix anymore shaking or vibrations.
With no help from Chevrolet or GM I took the truck to Discount Tire when visiting Utah and they said that Chevrolet had thrown weights all over the tires. They balanced them correctly and it did ride a lot smoother. Still I am getting shakes and vibrations in the steering wheel, seat, and the center 6th seat (which is normally down so I can use the cup holders) constantly shakes back and forth. I have taken videos of the problem and will be posting on YouTube so I can post on here.
Everything works well on the truck except occasional Bluetooth issues but besides that just want it to not shake and vibrate. My only conclusion is that when GM changed the chassis in 2014 they royally screwed something up and it would be to expensive to do a major recall so GM is running away from the problem. I just want my $50,000 truck to not shake me to death.

Went out of town first weekend after buying truck. Noticed a vibration and took it back to dealer. They said tires were out of balance but fixed it, NOT. Went out of town again the next weekend, same vibration. back to the dealer, they changed a couple tires. Not fixed. Took it back for a pico test, they said it was NORMAL for Chev trucks to vibrate like this. Hummm first time my wife ever gets sick in a vehicle due to vibrations. GM says they have no fix and all is normal. 50,000 dollar vibrator at highway speeds. Fix it or buy it back.

My truck has been in the shop under warranty. Went to two different dealerships. Tires have been road forced balanced. Replaced 8 tires with in 12k on the clock and it still shakes at 74 and up .. I called GM and I am getting nowhere with them. I guess it's time to do a lemon law. Ccan some one help me?

There is a vibration at highway speeds and really bad at 75 mph plus. I have taken to the dealer three to four times to fix the vibration and they have balanced the tires, replaced the tires, balanced the tires again but still not fixed. Last time in the shop they kept it for three days and said they did a vibration analysis on it and sent it to GM but ended up telling me that they can't fix the problem. I have told them multiple times if they can't fix the problem then I do not want the truck.
They told me all trucks have different variations of vibration, some are worse than others. Mine has shaken so bad I thought something was going to fall off the truck. Not only is this problem very annoying but it is also embarrassing. I hate having someone else in the truck with me and I hate driving down the interstate. On top of that I have had back problems all of my life and it hurts my back to drive down the highway with all of the vibration. They say there is nothing wrong, but the vibration says there is.
My real and most serious question is what happens when something does fall off my truck, after all it can't vibrate like that forever and nothing go seriously wrong. Eventually something will happen. Will I then have a wreck? Will whatever falls off hit another car? Will there be a serious injury or someone get killed? The answer is I don't know and neither does GM but they are taking chances with the lives of their customers and others around the faulty vehicles going down the highway. They need to take every vehicle like mine off the road or they may be filing bankruptcy all over again.
I'm going in the morning back to the dealer again and requesting they buy my truck back, if they won't do that or give me the deal of a lifetime on a trade to a truck that does not vibrate then I'll move on to the lemon laws or getting a lawyer and/or seeing if our local TV station will do a report on the problem because there are thousands and thousands of trucks doing what mine is doing. I very much feel victimized by GM through this inferior product.

I HAVE A 2015 CHEVY SILVERADO 1500 LT CREW CAB THAT SHAKES AND VIBRATES FROM 40MPH THROUGH 70MPH DEALER ROAD FORCE BALANCED TIRES REPLACED ONE TIRE DID NOT HELP AT ALL

My fiancé and I both bought brand new 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500. Hers has no issues but mine shakes bad at 70MPH and appears to sometimes run rough. I have had it back to dealership once and it's going back again. First time they did 4 wheel road alignment and replaced right rear tire. No change... Now it is going back again.
It's very disheartening to have this kind of ride on a brand new truck.
The shake is bad enough to see the seat console and anything not tied down rock back and forth. You cannot feel it in the steering wheel. However I also have issue sometimes the truck just runs rough like Im no a bad road although on the same road some days it is fine.
I'm stumped and pissed...

New truck, okay leaving dealer, took on a freeway trip, vibration starts at about 70MPH, shakes dash and console. We took back to dealer who say they changed out only one of the 20" Goodyear tires and balanced all. The problem is still there, so took back to dealer who has had it for 5 days now with no answers yet. I do not roll over for stuff like this, will use the Lemon Law if necessary.
Update from Sep 14, 2015: The problem was with the tires evidently. I do not know which ones were replaced or re-balanced by the dealer but problem is gone now.

I purchased my 2015 Silverado brand new in November of 2015. Ever since I got it the idling has been HORRIBLE! It causes vibrations at any speed. At about 25,000 miles I started noticing a chirp sound every time I accelerate. Taken my vehicle in about 3-4 times that have been documented and nothing was found. Took it in again late last year and was advised to take the service manager on a ride so he could hear it. No offense, I do not dispute that these service managers are a wealth of knowledge, but we all lose some hearing as we get older. He couldn't hear the issue and said he wouldn't even know where to start to look. My vehicle now has about 58,000 miles and I feel like the issue is only going to get worse, very discouraging. I have a 2004 Silverado with 158,000 miles on it that sounds and runs 100% better than this one does. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! Wish GM would listen to our complaints as we well have similar ones.
