The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. While driving 30 mph, the rear driver's side window exploded without warning. There were no injuries. The contact veered to the shoulder of the road to inspect the vehicle and noticed that the rear driver's side door glass was shattered. Luther brookdale Chevrolet (6701 brooklyn blvd, brooklyn center, mn 55429, (612) 326-3850) was contacted and stated that the VIN was not included in any active recalls. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact to take the vehicle to be diagnosed. The failure mileage was approximately 111,000.
