I took my truck to the carwash and when I got home I noticed the paint flaked right off the ride of my truck. GM needs to recall their paint jobs because these trucks are not cheap and people like me bust our asses to keep them looking good . I guess well go back to a beater if GM won't correct their damn problems.

The paint is peeling all over the truck and there are rust spots all over too. In some spots, the rust is all the way through. We had the truck Ziebarted twice and also when we bought the truck we paid cash and then didn't even get the truck we purchased because they couldn't get it to us so they got another truck and had 295 miles already on it. That's not considered a new truck to me. Now no help at all from them. I see there is a lawsuit going on for this problem and want to know what I can do to get help

2016 Silverado. Paint blistering. Took to dealership yesterday . Out of warranty . It's my problem now. I had the truck Ceramic Coating within One week when New. Washed weekly. Detailed yearly. This truck is beautiful. I paid $300.00 extra when new. Brown Metallic. Dealership stated the Truck is Aluminum. This should definitely be a recall. The truck was designed to be defective.
Front seal was also leaking oil in drive way. Dealership did cove that. Under drive train warranty. 32.000 Miles to date.

Paint has had numerous gouges in the paint from a twig, pine branch, snow (not ice, just snow), and from brushing against a plastic bumper. I have never owned a vehicle that has paint so cheap and so soft and thin, that even your fingernail will gouge it.
Had to have part of the front fender repainted from scratches, when a short 2x4 sitting next to the vehicle fell over and brushed against the paint. I will NEVER buy a Chevrolet vehicle again!!!

Two dealerships have said they have never heard of this happening and that the truck is out of warranty. They are no longer responsible?
