Headlights are dangerous, extremely dim, there is also no light to the side when turning as in you cannot see where your going, I almost hit a pedestrian in the rain because I could not see them. Vehicle can be driven with high beams on and no one notices. I am planning on installing aftermarket lighting before I kill someone or wreck a long awaited new vehicle I wish I still had my 1992 K1500 with 275,000 miles it had better lights not sure i will stay a chevy man have owned many and still do. Also had heater core replaced, unbelieveable!

I love my 2016 Chevy Silverado blackout edition. However when its dark out and wet pavement I can't see. it's like my headlights are off. I'm on vacation and was on my way back to the hotel on highway 195 my GPS said make a left so many feet ahead, I was in the left turn lane but didn't realize it was for u turn lane my left turn was still ahead. I almost ran off the highway down in the center lane crashing . I was able to make a quick lane change and correct the mistake, but I didn't see the lane ended until I was 5 feet away had there been a car riding my ass I would of been in that ditch flipped over or who knows what. I did purchase a light, had it installed for 500, it works well but I can't use it when traffic is near. Pain in the ass, worst head lamp design ever. I don't care if Chevy fixes there bad design because my life and others are important and I will pay to have something better to keep my truck out of harms way. Buyers beware.
