Silverado 1500 LTZ 6.2L V8

When the reverse display comes up, the light from the display intensifies to blinding brightness to where is next to impossible to see the side view mirrors and forcing you to solely rely on the reverse camera to back up. I have made all the adjustments that I have been able to find, then began online research only to find more complaints about the same issue on Silverado 1500 trucks.
