The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. While driving approximately 55 mph, the contact heard a loud pop sound. The contact pulled the vehicle over and discovered that the sun roof exploded. The vehicle was driven to premier Chevrolet (401 us-59 loop, livingston, tx 77351), but the cause of the failure could not be determined. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 40,000.
