this is the third time the acc belt(generator belt) has been replaced first it was just replaced
the second time they replaced the crankshaft balancer which was' coming apart' the third time they said it was the acc belt tensioner that was bad and they replaced it.

dealer said they checked alignment on everything--obviously something is seriously wrong
Update from Jul 27, 2019: So the dealer had to replace the serpentine belt and the crankshaft balancer at 7954 miles. Today at just over 11000 miles the balancer/belt is making the same noise again.appt next week to confirm the balancer is gone south again
Update from Dec 24, 2019: SO TODAY, THE TRUCK WAS MAKING THE SAME 'GRINDING TYPE' NOISE AND WHEN i CHECKED THE SERPENTINE BELT WAS ONCE AGAIN SHREDDING FIBERS IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT I WAS OVER 100 MILES FROM HOME- and now just over 16,000miles this is the third time first time was crankshaft balancer, the second serpentine belt tensioner,and now wont know till after the 30th-Cannot see service dept till the 30th due to holidays. three times, truck out of service for a week each time-- not sure what the problem is this time --but I am super pissed!!!!

5th trip for same issue. I've replaced the accessory belt tensioner, drive belt bracket, etc.
Contacted Chevrolet customer care will see if they have any adjustment they wish to make- Service mage said that he will work with the regional rep and the sales manager to see if there can be some adjustments made-I need to dump this truck as it is not reliable and this time only 1000 miles before the same problem cropped up again.
