Unbelievable that the transmission goes out at 102,000 miles! Google check revealed that this is a common occurrence. Google check also revealed that there is no recall concerning these transmissions.

Just ridiculous that my truck has less than 100k miles and my transmission just out of no where blew. Left my wife and kids stranded.

Seriously disappointed with Chevrolet! I was told yesterday by a GMC dealer that my transmission in my 2017 Chevy Silverado Z71 was bad and either needed to be rebuilt or a new one. I have never had a major component fail on a Chevrolet vehicle with only 102,000 miles. I have been a Chevy fan all my life but I'm probably going to change, hoping Toyota comes out with the diesel Tundra.
A few days before after dropping off my side by side at the dealer for servicing, my transmission started slipping, shuttering and heating up. I would have to pull to the side of the road and sit for a little bit until it cooled down and then get back on the road hopscotching the last 25 miles home. Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do to fix?

2018 Chevrolet 1500LT crew cab pickup was finance in 2021 for 32k . In 2022 this same truck was completely payoff. Fast forward to 2025 less than four years later and the truck is out of service. Truck started to slowdown while on the highway than speedup only to slow down again truck went fast and slow only to slowdown and start to shake as it slowed down while making grinding sounds. Truck was towed only to be told that the transmission needs to be replace. The truck has 128k miles on it.
Can somebody tell me what or why the lemon law is not set for all Chevrolet pickups. I mean let's be real I was looking forward to having the truck for at least ten years or more. Now I have a truck sitting that can't be driven. As fair as warrant yeah I can get an extended one for three hundred a month . At this point I don't know what to do. Very unsatisfied with purchase. If I would have know this was going to happen I would have just walk away before purchasing a lemon. That didn't produce something sweet but nothing but bitter juice.
