Silverado 1500

The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that on several occasions while moving off from a stand still, there was a hard shift in the transmission between first and second gear. The failure was also evident on the downshift from third gear to second gear while slowing the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to pride Chevrolet located at 715 lynnway, lynn, MA 01905, (781) 780-4587 to be diagnosed. The mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure was intermittent. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 1,800.

Silverado 1500

Hard shifts. It felt like someone hit me. The truck slams into gears as you are driving. Also, after doing a 3 point turn. There was an approxamententaly 3 second lag before going into gear. It hit so hard that the truck shook. It felt like a collision. It has stumbled several times and made me doubt my ability to get out of the way of traffic.
