When shifting to park and shut truck off a shift to park warning comes on dash and you can shut engine off or lock door if you try the horn starts honking. I took it to dealer they had it for 2 days said it showed no costs nor could they get it to happen so they say. It dose it almost every time you shut it off. They sent me home and the problem is the same.

Pressed the brake and service ESC/ service Brake Assist/ Check Engine/ ABS/ lights came on. Speed was restricted to 43 mph, speed was restricted to 62 mph. Cruise control was disabled. Brake Pad monitoring system read incorrectly. Took it to dealership for further inspection.

Backup camera turned blue, not allowing me to view if a child is behind my truck. This is a safety issue because a child could be killed because you cannot see them. I have found out that this is an issue with allot of gm trucks/cars. But gm does not see this as an issue enough to put out a recall!

Lost all power steering and brake pedal did not work properly. Could not steer vehicle at all even using both hands on steering wheel. I shut off the truck, turned it back on and "service power steering" light came on the dashboard. Steering did not work at all so I shut it off. Called dealer to report problem and left a message to call me back.( I did not hear back from the dealer.) After a short period of time, I restarted the truck and the service light was still on, but the steering and brakes were working so I drove it home. I took it to the dealership on Sept 5th to explain what happened. They pulled up 8 codes from the truck and made me an appt for sept 8th. They informed me that there was a wire chafing problem with this particular truck, but upon inspection on the 8th, they said they could not find a bad wire. They told me to drive it until it happens again! Not being able to steer or brake are DEFINITELY SAFETY issues !

I have a 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 that has been well taken care of. I got into my truck and went to start it and a bunch of warning lights appeared stating brake system failure, service ESC, traction control off and 4WD off. The check engine light also came on with multiple other warning lights. I had a family member jump my truck and I was able to make it home. I hooked it up to my code reader and it showed- P25A2 Brake System Control Module 1. This has been a known issue and has been recalled twice for about 550,000 of the 2019 Silverado 1500, but my VIN isn-??t included, even though it-??s clearly having the same issue. The fix is to have the brake system reprogrammed by the dealership. Since my VIN isn-??t listed I-??m not getting any help with the issue.

The contact's fiancé owns a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. While driving 65 MPH, the vehicle independently stopped with several unknown warning lights illuminated. The transmission resumed normal operation soon after the failure before failing again. The contact later discovered that an Over-The-Air (OTA) software update was performed on the vehicle without the owner-??s knowledge. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where another software update for the brake control module was performed. The failure occurred for a second time as the contact's fiancé was driving again at 65 MPH; however, he managed to drive the vehicle home despite the repeated failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and her fiancé was offered a gift certificate for his next oil change. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 52,000.

Recurring blackouts of IOR 7-inch in-dash Infotainment System, ranging from minutes to hours, which render access to vehicle controls, audio/radio, and safety features inoperative, including OnStar, vehicle navigation, backup camera, and other features. Additionally, without warning, radio has unexpected and sudden spikes in maximum volume even when powered down. After repeated repair attempts, Manufacturer has attempted to place blame on incompatible iPhones and non-OEM cables used to connect, but the issues occur even when no cellular telephones are connected through either USB or Bluetooth.

The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that when her husband started the vehicle, the vehicle began to jerk and hesitate upon depression of the accelerator pedal. The check engine warning light illuminated. Due to the failure, the contact had the vehicle towed to a dealer where a diagnostic test was performed. The vehicle was diagnosed with a defective fuel pump module. The contact was also informed that the parts to repair the vehicle were unavailable. The manufacturer was then notified of the failure and after numerous calls, agreed to pay for her monthly vehicle payment while the vehicle remained at the dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.

Dashboard and display screen doesn't shut off when key had been removed from the ignition. Constant freezing, call dropping and sound boost at random moments. Ticking sound when barely touching the gas. Hard shifts. Bluetooth connects and disconnects constantly. If GM released a defective vehicle, in which they are aware of the problems should be fixed. Not only for me but for the tons of thousands filing known major problems as well.

On multiple occasions while using an Apple phone that is connected to the vehicle via the USB port. While on a phone call, the call will drop, and the radio will turn up to full volume and will not shut off until the entire vehicle is pulled over and completely powered off. During the most recent event the radio did not shutoff even after vehicle was parked and powered down. It eventually shut off after the autotimer shut down all of the accessories power after the timeout time. The volume blast has happened twice in heavy metro Detroit, rush hour traffic. The volume level is extraordinarily distracting & when on the expressway, its nearly impossible to find a safe or practical place to power down the vehicle to reset the radio. The vehicle has been taken to the dealer to "flash" the radio, however it has not repaired the problem.

I bought the truck in Oct. of 2019 with 5000 miles on it. I have taken it to several service shops since then. I have told every one of those shops fro 2019 to present that there was something wrong with the truck. There has always been a hard clanking noise in the rear end. It always feels like it's in 4 wheel drive. It has never shifted right. When pulling a load it fells like it jumps in and out of gear. And when shifting from reverse to drive it clanks in the rear end. It feels like there is a brake dragging because when I let off the grass it will practically stop itself and it sound like a wheel cylinder is going out. Sometimes I have to push the start/stop engine button 2 to 3 times before the truck will shut off. The screen of the radio goes black sometimes. The rear tires don't turn when in 4 low. The tail gate doesn't lift like it's supposed to. The heater isn't right when you turn the defrost on it blows out at you feet. And when it remote started the heater doesn't always come on. All the reportes can be seen through the Chevrolet dealerships or OnStar. It has been taken to several different dealerships since 2019 when I bought it.

I have had several check engine codes on my truck. From what what the dealership tech put in his notes there is a bulletin on this. So, gm recognizes this is an issue. The dealership had to replace several wires on my ECM wiring harness due to damage from rubbing against the harness bracket. I feel that gm should issue a recall to fix the rubbing on the harness and I feel gm should have to replace the whole harness not just the damaged wires. I feel this is a hazard for these vehicles do to being on the internet state. I feel it will cause catastrophic injuries to the occupant as well as other drivers. It's hard to guess what that would cause the truck to do especially since everything is connected to the ECM.

Vehicles rear wheels lock up at 7 mph. Continually. Had to tow to dealership. They replaced the tcm and the tccm. Knew only because other people told me this is a big problem with Chevy's. happened at 36,090 miles. Wouldn't you know. Not covered under any warranties.

Service Trailer Brake System - warning code is displayed every time the vehicle is started and must be dismissed. This does not allow for safe towing and braking. Social media has displayed numerous other Chevy Trucks with this problem and have stated "cheap wire harness." This needs to be replaced by the manufacture for using cheap materials.

ABS Brake Assist Module failed. Warning lights and indicators alerted the problem and the vehicle lost power assist braking. I was able to drive the vehicle to the local dealership as the warning message on the dash indicated the vehicle could not exceed 40 MPH with manual braking. Service tech diagnosed the module had failed, stated they are beginning to see this issue in more and more 2019 vehicles.

History I-- Prior to July 2021, never heard this noise. Beginning in mid-July 2021 with a mileage of approximately 3400 miles, the radio would blare full volume upon starting the vehicle. This occurred sporadically at first, but the event would happen more often as time went by. The protocol used for shutting down the vehicle is as follows: a.Place gear shifter in Park. b.Engage electronic brakes. c.Completely turn off Climate system. dCompletely turn off Entertainment Console (Audio, et cetera). c.Turn off exterior lights. f.Turn off engine. g.Remove FOB with person. h.Exit vehicle and shut door(s). i.Engage locking and alarm systems twice with FOB. The Settings for the Vehicle Sounds is zero volume and no button feedback. Therefore, the radio should NOT activate except when engaged manually, and certainly not when the vehicle is starting and certainly not at full volume. The vehicle was taken to Parks Chevrolet on Wednesday, 29 September 2021, where the Service Department retained the vehicle for two days trying to diagnosis this issue. We picked up the vehicle Thursday afternoon, 30 September 2021. Friday morning, 1 October 2021, the vehicle was used, and upon starting, the radio blared at full volume for several seconds. The vehicle was not used Saturday. Sunday, 3 October 2021, the vehicle was used for a short trip to Eastern Henrico County's Osborne Landing. Although the radio did not blare when first starting the vehicle, it did blare for several seconds at the boat landing having sat for an hour.
