Silverado 1500 8-cyl

Infotainment screen is too bright for night driving. No dimmer control. The backup camera is so bright you cannot see out of the cab. I almost ran into a tree tying to back this thing up at night. Driving at night, I was constantly distracted by the brightness of the display. You can turn off the display, but if you need navigation that doesn't work. You can dim the interior lights, but by thee time the infotainment screen is dim enough you can no longer see the gauges. The vehicle was in motion.
