When attempting to start from a stop at an intersection when the auto start/stop function has stopped the engine, the vehicle will frequently hesitate to start, then once started exhibits unusual engine/transmission behavior. This truck is now on its fifth check-engine light service for identical failures of the auto start/stop function. The GM onstar diagnostics reports indicate 2 failure modes, one with the engine/transmission and the other with the lithium-ion battery. I have several concerns. 1, I may be stranded at an intersection with a vehicle that will not restart and/or has stalled in the intersection and 2, the lithium-ion battery will fail catastrophically leading to a vehicle fire.

Repetitive faults of the auto start/stop system. I have notifications on three separate occasions while driving the vehicle from the onstart diagnostics service of two identical faults. One, a defect with the engine & transmission system and one a defect with the lithium-ion battery. To date there has not been an effective repair. The latest attempt, replacing the lithium-ion battery, somehow has forced the system to no longer function under any condition. Driving conditions varied each time.

The truck has ~3000 miles. While driving the truck at highway speed (65 mph), a warning came on the dash "engine power reduced", followed by a check engine light, and then there was no response from the throttle/gas pedal. The engine was still running, but no power was available when pushing on the gas pedal. Luckily, I was able to pull off of the highway; however, if this would have happened crossing traffic or on a busy highway, the results could have been fatal. I was surprised and shocked to see a new truck provide zero power from the gas pedal. This is a significant risk to consumers, drivers, and other cars on the highway. When I put the truck on a code reader, I received the code P26C0. The local dealership stated that I am not the only one experiencing these issues with the 3.0 duramax diesel.

Chevy Silverado 1500 - has a feel like running over rumble strips and goes away. Occurs at or between 60 and 65 mph. It isn't continuous at all. Doesn't do it at lower speeds or higher speeds that I can feel. Truck was purchased brand new in 2020

2020 Silverado 1500 custom crew cab 4.6L, V6. Purchased truck onaugust 10, 2020. Took it to dealer on August 17, 2020 because of jerking forward at low speed (20-25 mph) and rear brakes making a deep rubbing sound. Of course, technician said there were no problems (because he could not duplicate) the jerking motion. After picking up my truck, I noticed that they did not even address the brake issue, nor did the service advisor note it on the form.

I was stopped N the drive thru at in-N-out with my foot on the brake and the eco system had turned off the motor. It spontaneously turned back on without me lifting my foot off of the brake and the transmission engaged and the truck launched forward approximately 12-18 inches. This is the second time this has happened to me. It also happened one night about 2 months ago. This could have been very dangerous, I could have hit someone or their car or I could have even received whiplash myself.

Put truck into park and shut off, started to get out but truck was starting to roll, tried to stop it, pushed on brakes, no effect, kept rolling and gained momentum till it hit our cabin and stopped. Length was 200ft appx of roll. Message center said " press brake to start " which I was doing as it gained speed. Also during roll there was a ratcheting sound all the way during the 200ft roll which in describing it to dealer I was told parking pawl may not have engaged properly causing that sound. I was able to start vehicle after it hit cabin so I could roll it back away from cabin. Started truck after accident, no warning lights on, brakes worked. In rural AZ, on our property when this happened. Taking to dealer tomorrow.
