car won't start and car won't start and car won't start and car won't start and car won't start and

...this time the truck (sticker price $46K+) would not start, the dashboard was lighting up like a carnival, the bonging would not stop, it kept saying to place the vehicle in park, various messages looping through, etc. It would not stop and would not turn off, it was not cranking and kept saying service parking brake along with the other messages service ESC and others. On this particular no-start instance I pulled it out of the garage in the morning and then later that day went to go start it and this happened. I had to try to figure out how to get it into neutral to let it roll down the driveway so my wife could get her car out of the garage because the truck was dead in the water. At this point the battery had enough power I guess to release the electric parking brake (push-button) so it rolled. Once the tow-truck arrived the next day, the battery was completely dead to where the door locks would not even work and so we had to open it with the manual key inside the fob. (I got 2 emails from OnStar that night indicating to get the vehicle serviced, no duh!!)

The next day (Fri.) the tow driver was able to charge the battery enough to get it back into neutral, however not enough to release the parking brake so he had to get creative with his flatbed ramp and slide under the truck as it sat unmoveable in order to not drag it and drag the tires (he did an impressive job!). So the truck went to the dealer on that Friday before noon. I called the dealer later in the afternoon and they had not gotten to it yet so called back a little later and they still had not gotten to it and hoping to get a rental for the weekend I was out of luck because nobody would answer and probably were gone for the day considering the holiday weekend.

They're service hours showed open Sat. so I called back Sat. to get a status and they still had not gotten to it and indicated that it would not get in until Tues. since there was nobody who could look at it on Sat. and it was a holiday on Mon. So Tues. came and I had to call them and I called multiple times throughout the day and could not get anybody and/or got disconnected, so I got a ride up there and had to wait about 30 minutes before anyone talked to me about it to conflictingly tell me it was either not in yet and/or then that it was in and they are not done with it yet. Here it is Wed. near the end of day now and nobody has called me yet from the dealer, so we still do not know what is up with this $46,000+ paperweight. TBC I guess...

Update from Jun 2, 2021: ...contacted the dealer late this afternoon (still no call with any information from them, not a single call!), no information available and the tech who is working on it is out for training today and won't be back until tomorrow. No larger vehicles are available either, so we're stuck going out-of-town with 4 people in this little car they gave us, which should be wonderful.
