Transmission is changing out very hard in each gear. On tonight while I was driving, I lost speed on the interstate and when I push the accelerator, It was like back wheels were locked up. I left it at the next exit gas station and came back and towed it home. Lucky I was able to put hazard lights on and get off the side of the road but it was very slow speed. Yes I have had it look at certified dealer under Cheverolet. It was no warning light. I was going 65 and in a split second the rpm went up high and I was doing like 25. Once I finally made it to the gas station and got out the truck smell like a burning smell

Driving vehicle down freeway about 75mph heard noise and truck shut speeds down to about 60mph on a major freeway. Per mechanic lifter has collapsed and it has been a common issue that Chevy knows about. He said that it could have been alot worse by seizing the engine and causing harm to drive or other people around causing a major accident. There is a major safety issue to life and or death caused by this issue that has NOT been a concern and causing people to pay over $5000 for repairs. Chevy has known about the faulty lifters for years and doesn't seem to care about safety concerns.

My 2020 Silverado duramax was at the dealer for recall, next day check engine light came on and rear wheels got locked up, the dealer installed new transmission valve, next day same problem check engine light and rear wheels locked up again, now the dealer said is something to be with a speed sensor and I have to paid for it, my truck was perfectly working before all this recall thing, it-??s been 3 weeks now with no transportation, because GM and Chevy dealer don-??t want to respond or fix this problem with the transmission valve and transmission control module software that was installed My truck was all good before this matter

Component/system that failed: The transmission control module in my 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has malfunctioned. The vehicle has issues with slipping between gears, rough shifting, and hesitation when accelerating. This component has already been inspected and diagnosed by a certified Chevrolet dealership, and the part is currently on backorder. The vehicle is available for further inspection upon request. Safety risk: This issue poses a serious safety risk to myself and others. The gear slipping and delayed response when driving-?"especially when merging onto highways or changing lanes-?"creates unpredictable behavior that can lead to an accident. The truck sometimes fails to engage gears properly, which makes it dangerous in traffic situations. Diagnosis confirmation: Yes, the problem has been confirmed by a Chevy dealership service advisor (Jose Diaz), who provided a formal quote and diagnosis for the replacement of the transmission control module. Inspection by others: The vehicle has not been inspected by police or insurance representatives, but Chevrolet Customer Assistance is currently reviewing the case, and I was advised to submit this documentation. Warning lamps or symptoms: There were no warning lamps initially, Symptoms include slipping gears, hesitation when pressing the gas pedal, jerky shifting, and difficulty accelerating smoothly. These symptoms have progressively worsened over time. Additional context: I have learned that many 2020 Chevrolet Silverado trucks have been recalled for the exact same issue, but my VIN is currently not included. I believe this is a manufacturing defect and that my vehicle should be considered for inclusion in the recall or further investigation.

Dealership attempting to sell a vehicle with an open recall was more than prepared to let me drive and potentially sell a vehicle with a recall open causing the rear tires to randomly lock up. Made problem known to salesman and said they'd take it off the market. Now, they lowered the price by $2600 as it was previously listed at $25,571, now listed at $22,971. Listing still not down.

We went to an appointment and when we got back in the car, a message was on the screen. It said that the brake system has failed and we could only drive 43 mph maximum! The engine light was on and we could not accelerate beyond 43 mph. This is extremely dangerous when driving on a highway! We drove home on the interstate going 43 mph in a 70 mph zone! We had small children in the car and almost got into a few accidents due to other aggressive drivers. We then called local dealers who said that they were too busy to take our truck for weeks! They also said that our truck was not covered under warranty. So we took it to a local body shop. They fixed it for just above $500. It worked for a week and broke again, then they fixed it again for free. The brake failure 43 mph light came on for the 3rd time. We took it Garber and they fixed it after 2 weeks and charged us a fortune. Invoice attached. A few weeks later the same light came back on. Garber then took another 2 weeks to fix it! I-??m writing here as I-??ve seen other silverados recalled for the same issue but not my exact truck (year). It-??s obviously faulty software and it should not be the customers responsibility to fix. Especially with a vehicle under 20k miles! There is absolutely no way that we will ever buy a GM again but the important part here is that other people are not put into a dangerous situation like we were. Besides dealing with this issue for well over a month - the important part is safety. I can-??t understand how these trucks have the same problems but only certain VINs qualify for a recall. Please consider our truck as part of the overall recall for this issue. It-??s unethical to pick and choose only certain VINs!

While driving 55+mph on a parkway the service parking brake, check engine light and the traction control light came on with a warning "Engine Power Reduced" which was dangerous because I could not accelerate and there was not a spot to pull over. This is frustrating due to the fact that I was having this same issue 6 months ago and Chevrolet said it was a wiring issue and it wasn't covered by the warranty because it had 42k miles. Chevrolet said it was a known issue but it was not at the level of a recall and it cost $1800 to fix.

While driving brakes failed and codes came on saying brake system failure 43 mph, this problem apparently is a programming issue that will cost over 600 dollars because -??reprogramming-?? isn-??t covered. Brake pads were over 50% life and it is a very dangerous error.

Purchased the truck through CARMAX and two weeks later received the -??Service Brake Assist-?? and -??Brake System Failure-?? message on the Console. This has happened twice in in one month.

I was driving and a few different warning appeared. Service Parking Brake, Service Trailer Brake System, Steering Assist is reduced Drive with care. Along with these warning my speed was limited to 62 mph, my steering was reduced and my braking was reduced, all 3 of them to dangerous levels.

Upon starting the vehicle for the second time one day, when placing the automatic transmission into 'D' - Drive, it began to roll backwards as if it was in Neutral on a slight decline and the brakes had to be applied to avoid rolling downhill backwards. After attempting to place it back into 'P' - Park and back into 'D' - Drive and attempting to try 'R' Reverse to try to get it to move forward properly, it would not go forward. After several tries and restarting the vehicle completely, it finally attempted to move forward but would only do so at a reduced speed and would not respond to the accelerator pedal beyond a certain amount. After trying again, it appeared to move forward a bit better, but then upon stopping at a stoplight and attempting to pull out for a left turn onto the road, the speed again was reduced and I had to immediately place it into 'R' - Reverse to avoid an accident due to oncoming traffic. Finally I was able to get it to move forward a bit better and was heading directly for the dealership but since the power just was not getting to the wheels (transmission?) I pulled over and shut off the truck for a few minutes. Upon starting the truck again, it seemed to move forward better after that but had the 'check engine light' illuminated. The truck is at the dealership now, they have had it nearly a week and said they will not begin to look at it for another week at least since they only have 2 technicians who can look at it.

This truck has 2700 miles on it. Got in to drive it home from the store today and the service engine light is on. Says stabilitrak error and antilock brake error. Brake pedal felt strange so I was afraid to drive it after reading similar stories about trucks veering or not braking when the pedal is depressed. Called dealer to schedule service. This truck hasn't even had its first oil change yet and already having electrical problems.

Traveling at about 75-80mph, on a highway, - brakes engaged, slowing vehicle by about 15mph causing the truck to jerk as if it missed a gear. "service ESC" diaglogue, traction control light, and check engine light came on.

The truck has ~3000 miles. While driving the truck at highway speed (65 mph), a warning came on the dash "engine power reduced", followed by a check engine light, and then there was no response from the throttle/gas pedal. The engine was still running, but no power was available when pushing on the gas pedal. Luckily, I was able to pull off of the highway; however, if this would have happened crossing traffic or on a busy highway, the results could have been fatal. I was surprised and shocked to see a new truck provide zero power from the gas pedal. This is a significant risk to consumers, drivers, and other cars on the highway. When I put the truck on a code reader, I received the code P26C0. The local dealership stated that I am not the only one experiencing these issues with the 3.0 duramax diesel.

Brand new truck with only 450 miles. First incident was check engine light came on, brake pedal was really hard to press almost hit car infront of me. Second incident all lights came back up ABS, SRS, trailer brake module, parking brake, truck will not go faster than 42mph. And brake pedal was really hard again. Call onstar for a diagnostic and code came up, C05B0, P25A2. Check engine like came off. Went to dealer today and they said nothing can be done, because no light is on. Service advisor refuse to put scanner to read any stored code. Service advisor say it can be the computer is resenting, need to keep driving veh until check engine light comes back on again. No feel safe on new veh with no brakes twice.

This issue has happened multiple times, in the city, highway, and definitely while I was in motion. This has almost caused me to rear end another driver. I get a ABS warning and my speed is limited to 62mph. My brakes are harder to press on and doesn't slow down the truck normally. I get a ABS sign, traction control sign, and a check engine sign. The truck is almost brand new with one previous owner, and only 15K miles. This issue needs to be resolved, this is unacceptable. A truck is a lethal machine and if I'm not able to stop the truck how it should be stopped, I could possibly hurt or kill someone.
