Extended Warranty company approved a complete new transmission but this transmission is on back order without an ETA. We had to take the truck to another repair shop to have the transmission repaired at our expense to be able to continue to use the truck for work. Going on week four without the truck which means our family van has been appropriated for work. NOT HAPPY!

I have been trying to get the transmission specifications/tolerance for the transmission temp. I was told by the dealer mechanic that 192 -194 is the allowable range; however, I can hit 200 just driving around and can hit 248 when towing my pontoon boat (which on the trailer is 4,000 lbs.).

I get a transmission temp warning light when towing. Have to turn off the truck and wait a while before starting up.
