Put it this way. I had a Chevy dealership look at the Truck. Told them about the noise and the codes. Was told the codes I provided where not from a certified mechanic at Chevy. Codes where never cleared when I brought to chevy. Service rep said by driving around the codes would clear. The first question I was asked from Chevy was who changed the oil? I said you did. You were the last to have the truck. Truck was there for 5 hours and when I picked up I was told I need a starter, and they put 165 miles on the truck in 5 Hours. Now they say Chevy has a Hardship program to help me pay for engine. I asked rep to explain to me what is being done, and he said a bunch of stuff. Its been almost 4 weeks, truck still in same spot from 4 weeks ago.
