Silverado 1500 LT 5.3L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 3,280 miles

A new truck and 10 minutes out, light comes on in dash info center. SRS system fault. The light plays on and off whenever I take it to sales guy and he says just bring it in for the 1st oil change we'll check it out then, no codes or ck eng lights on dash (hard code) yet.

I drive 2 more months and it finally goes (Hard code) - see, I'm not imagining things... and so in it goes, and they find 3 codes (2 misfires... P0300 main code setter and P0301 and p0306 cyl 1 and 6 misfired history) and the clock spring fault. They replace the clock spring and not the complete column and now the steering wheel rubs and makes noise. Also I tell them this and they try to fix it while I wait and then damage the drivers door and door handle in the hurried repair.

Now its been in for 2 weeks paint and body and now a carfax and maybe motor work in the near future. And infotainment issues too! WHAT A GIGANTIC PIECE OF CRAP FOR 65K STILL NO HELP AT THE DEALER LEVEL SO I OPENED A GM DIRECT COMPLAINT.
