Silverado 1500 Hybrid 8-cyl

The contact owns a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. While driving approximately 50 mph, the check engine indicator illuminated and the engine shut down a few minutes later. The vehicle was towed to dave white Chevrolet (419-885-4444, located at 5880 monroe St, sylvania, oh 43560) where the technician diagnosed and replaced the fuel pump control module. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no recall. The vehicle was repaired. The failure mileage was 65,199. Consumer stated all info is correct. Updated 12/19/18

Silverado 1500 Hybrid

The contact owns a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. While driving 40 mph, the vehicle experienced hesitation, a loss of power, and stalling. Also, the check engine warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump module was defective and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
