The contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that the rear driver side door latch did not latch. The contact cleaned and lubricated the lock, but the latch failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where the contact was informed that there was no recall. The failure was not diagnosed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 46,000.
