Over the instrument cluster there is now a 6 inch wide hole which leaves electrical components exposed. This is a large safety issue and I would like to have a factory replacement since this a widely known defect by GM.

I have contacted the local dealership and the Chevrolet manufacturer for repairs and they continue to tell me parts are not available for repair. I have also filed a claim on the takata airbag inflator claim and notification center hosted by prime clerk llc. I cannot sell my vehicle to a private party because of the air bag recall. It is taking way too long for repairs and this is causing a hardship. This is a major safety issue and parties need to be held accountable for their slow and unresponsive actions.
