Takata recall--I called (11/7/17) my Chevy dealership as soon as I received the "important legal notice for owners of vehicles with takata airbag inflators" to schedule an appointment per instruction on postcard. My Chevy dealer says the parts to repair the airbags are not available yet. The original recall letter came out in 2016. I am concerned as the postcard mentions personal injury or death. I would like to complain that this issue has not been resolved. There has to be some solution that will help the owners of these vehicles instead of, let's see what happens to you and your loved ones. I would rather have no airbag than one with the probably of killing the people in the front seats, according to the warnings put out on these airbags. Deactivation of the airbag would be a better solution than doing nothing. Where is the common sense in this situation" if you or someone you love were behind the wheel of one of these vehicles, wouldn't you want someone to do something instead of taking the chance of getting murdered by something that is supposed to help save your life"
