Valvestems split at base adjacent to wheel after < 4 months and < 5000miles. These were purchased from General Motors (dealership) and installed by a reputable tire store. They would release air at a rate of approximately 10-15psi per 100mi driven and only at freeway speeds. No air loss around town or over night while sitting. Bending the valve stem downward (away from the hub and towards the tire) caused the air to escape. This is the direction they would natural bend while spinning due to centrifugal force. All 4 were leaking or showed signs of damage in the same location.

Spare tire hoist bracket broke and spare tire was swinging loosely under rear of truck. Further investigation revealed several stress cracks in bracket surrounding the bolt hole. If tire bracket would have broke off tire would drop to pavement and become a road hazard. Sources at dealer indicated they had no bulletins on this item but knew of some people who had lost their spare tires. I still have the parts.

As I was driving down the road my tire started going flat. After changing the tire and putting the spare on I noticed that where the tire went flat there had been separation from the outside tire and the inside of the tire rubber. I noticed that both my Wrangler Goodyear P265/70/R17 tires had bubbles in them where the tires are separating in the middle of the tread. The tires dot number is 4bt6 fder 0610. This is definitely a manufacturing defect and should be looked into. The tires are on a 2010 Chevrolet 1500 pickup.

Vehicle running on highway at 60 mph and steering began to wobble. Checked front passenger side tires.. noted a single bulge in the middle of tire treads. 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 equipped with Goodyear Wrangler tires at/S size P265/70R17 tires. Estimated tire to be slightly over a year old with approx 25,000 miles on it. Still plenty of thread on it. Bought truck to Goodyear auto service center to have tire inspected. Technician visually inspected tire at parking lot and claimed that fault was likely caused by tire hitting a pothole or curb. Technician refuse to provide any form of warranty for tire. A bulge in the middle of the tire thread isn't good. Never seen a tire bulging like this before. Looks like a manufacturing defect. Will bring it to another tire shop to have it replaced. It will not be another Goodyear tire.
