If the piece of crap car salesman at the lot where we bought this truck a year ago would have given us a car fax as we ask and then when back for and written for we would not have bought the truck. Now my question is why do we have to wait for injury or death due to this company selling defective merchandise, why hasn't there been a fix, solution, or something done about this problem" why are american consumers subjected to this danger and these big corporate companies get away with it. I have family and a small great grandson that rides with me. Why should I have to worry about their safety when I put them I my vehicle? if you want the name of the crooked car lot doing this stuff, please let me know I would love to blast them all over the world. Now the bottom line what is going to be done about this problem before we die or are bleinded for life??" this is ridiculous.

"takata recall"takata had put my 2011 Chevrolet Silverado under a recall in may of 2016 but GM is taking a very long time to complete the recall and provide the remedy.the status said that GM was supposed to resolve the solution based on the results of their petition by August of 2017.it is now January of 2018 and still the recall status states "incomplete/remedy not yet available"I feel that it is very unsafe to drive my vehicle and GM is taking their time on a very important safety recall.
