The contact stated the passenger's side seat belt will not buckle. When attaching the seat belt into the buckle it was not latching. The contact consulted a dealership about the price of installing a new buckle. Updated 12/27/2005 - while making a abrupt stop one day the seat belt became unlatched and has not worked since.

While driving at 45-50 mph and upon coming to a three way stop sign brakes failed, and consumer collided head on into an embankment. The impact caused seat belts to become undone, and air bags did not deploy. Consumer sustained a broken sternum and facial fractures. Manufacturer and the dealer have been informed of the problem.
