(1) while crossing over a cattle guard at 10-25 mph the spare tire hoist and spare tire fell off the truck which are mounted underneath the 2003 Chevy duramax pickup truck. ( 2 )the tire impacted the trailer brake plug hookup and broke the welds holding it on. (3) accident reported to supervisor and interagency safety commitee. Vehicle to be serviced and repairs made when possible.
