The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado. While driving at an unknown speed, the accelerator pedal extended to the floor and the brakes failed. After inspecting the vehicle, the contact noticed that brake fluid was leaking from the driver side. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. The technician diagnosed that all the brake lines needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 67,737.
