While doing an oil change on my 2005 pu I noticed enough buildup of rust on the brake lines that I stopped driving the truck. I have had pu trucks (Ford) since 1972 and never had an issue with brake lines although I had the trucks for 10 yrs. This is a serious issue of negligence of GM. I am 75 and never had this issue although I had cars and trucks (and motorcycles) since I was 16. I believe this is more serious than ignition switch. Thank you

My 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500hd had broken exhaust manifold bolts. Repaired at 87,000 miles. Went to dealership today because of exhaust leak and was told there are more broken bolts at 136,000. Obviously there is a defect. Unsafe/raw exhaust leaking into air and cab.

I have had my blower fan motor replaced the dealer just replaced my cigarette lighter when they were replacing my recalled speedometer they said the wires were melted to cig assembly, days later my truck burnt to the ground. The cause was the heater resister and fan motor started this fire. I am out a truck the dealer says that's what insurance is for. Big deal I get 75% of my truck's value. This was a 2005 2500hd extended cab truck in excellent condition. Why do we as customers have to put up with these defects and take the loss. We suffer. The question is how many fires have been associated with this year truck and the factories problems. When do we as high paying customers get some help with or struggle to keep what we paid for still working with out being burnt. Tw*
