center stop light (3rd brake light) leaking onto headliner
Backed out of my driveway and noticed a water stain in passenger side of headliner. After inspection I saw the gasket on the center stop light was not sealing up. I removed the light cleaned the area up and resealed it with a marine grade silicone. Not a drop since, but still a stain if you look hard enough. Just another poor engineering design and cost cutting measure done by greedy corporate jerkoffs . I'm bow tie all the way but I think the heartbeats dying out , a heart attack maybe, I don't know. Might be time to look else where

sound barrier under carpet soaking wet passside front/rear
Upon detailing my junk Chevy I pulled all the plastic trim out of the door sills . I lifted the carpet just to see why I had water next to the wires on a 90 degree day. Found out the sound barrier was soaked , I literally ran my hand over it and was pushing water out . Read some forums to try and find source, some said windshield leaking, cab vents leaking, doors filling up with water n coming in thru the speakers, weather gaskets leaking, door drains clogged, etc. I checked all of these and am yet to find the source. Found a new thread on a forum recently, guy found a hole in the kick panel that would fill up with water and leak into the cab. I'm yet to check. I'm almost to the point of not caring and gonna let it rot out so I have to go buy a new (other than Chevy ) truck.
