I always hand wax my white Silverado 2500 diesel crew cab every two weeks religiously. I noticed on the back passenger door about a 4" zig zag in the paint and couldn't believe my eyes! Two days later I look and the paint actually blew off half of the section. There is no reason for the paint to do this except if it is defective.

I noticed on the back passenger door a 5" zig zag in the paint and couldn't believe my eyes! Two days later I look and half the paint in the area actually blew off. There is absolutely no reason for the paint to do this except if it is defective. I took it to the dealer and the manager said Chevy might do a $50 good will but to repair the door it would be $550. Ridiculous.
