I always hand wax my white Silverado 2500 diesel crew cab every two weeks religiously. I noticed on the back passenger door about a 4" zig zag in the paint and couldn't believe my eyes! Two days later I look and the paint actually blew off half of the section. There is no reason for the paint to do this except if it is defective.
Update from Jul 31, 2022: I always hand wax my white Silverado 2500 diesel crew cab every two weeks religiously. I noticed on the back passenger door a 5" zig zag in the paint and couldn't believe my eyes! Two days later I look and half the paint in the area actually blew off. There is absolutely no reason for the paint to do this except if it is defective. I took it to the dealer and the manager said Chevy might do a $50 good will but to repair the door it would be $550. Ridiculous.

A 50,000 dollar truck should not have simple paint issues.

Just interested in keeping updated about the class action lawsuit, and I want to make sure I am on the list.
