I was driving with my front and rear motoried window defrost on because its cold outside right now when I started smelling something burning. I turned down the defrost knob. I opened the driver side window to air our the smell when suddenly the rear motorized window defrost sparked up into flames while I was driving. It was in full on burning up in flames. I pulled over and luckily I was able to put out the fire. I have contacted GM because when I google this issue it states GM put out a recall on 2014-2019 Silverado HD trucks but upon speaking with a GM customer representative my truck there is no such recall on these trucks. I could have been killed or worse killed someone else on the road. I am considering getting a lawyer involved with this issue.

Backup camera screen is so bright at night inside vehicle that it almost causes an inability to see anything. Apparently there is no way to adjust the brightness on this model, but was available in earlier models
