I paid 63 thousand dollars for this truck.under the impression that my truck was safe. I have two children that I put in this vehicle everyday thinking they would be safe ..they were not. There was an airbag recall in 2016 for this airbag malfunction ..I bought the truck in 2017 I had put 43 thousand miles on this truck when I was side swiped by a volvo. When the truck started going into a fullspin the screen kept reading diagnostic check.. We spun around three times over the divider. Unfortunately the other driver that hit me was killed and myself and two other passengers were injured very badly. I no longer have the truck because of the damage. I have called Chevrolet and I get 'oh we'll have somebody get right on it '.....I'm still waiting on them to get right on it.
I've trusted Chevrolet for many years now. This is my second vehicle I have bought and paid cash for to them. My first chev was a hummerh2 bought new 63 thousand, again.. in cash. I did this because I believed in their product, believing what they sold me was safe.. as of 2016 my 2017 chev 2500 duramax diesel was not, and now I received a recall on this air bag failure aug 2019. My wreck was march 2019....I think they were a little late.

Update from Oct 25, 2019: still no word from chevrolet, i have been with out a car since march 27 2019, where is the loyalty to their customers? oh let me guess drive it off the lot after giving the dealership $63,000 dollars cash and the truck is only worth 43,000 the next day.. what was that a $20,000 thousand comission for the dealership..... and never mind about my childrens safety ??:????
chevrolet knew of this potel life threatining hazzard and still smiled as i drove this truck off the lot. and when i say knowing ...i mean in april 2016 there was a recal for this airbag defect that could cause serious if not fatal injuries in the event such as mine in march 27 2019. note i bought this truck in 2017 from the dealership here in fresno ca michelles chevrolet, kept up with the maintance at that dealership prior to accident.
and this is the response i get from my complaints and concerns... im still hurt from this defective air bag as well as the two other people that were with me that day. my arms go are numb and go to sleep when ever i sit down for any amount of time i get head aces and my vision is blurred now.. my job requiers me to sit in front of computor for long periods of time and long road trips. these things i ca not do any more..im just wandering how much more money ,time and quality of life i have to loose before (chevrolet corp) will acknowledge me!!!!

Update from Dec 21, 2019: Hello again, December 21,2019 caroll ann coleman is any body out there working on this ..???? i would like just one call in regaurds to this complaint im writting to you chevrolet. i really think abitration between the two parties would be a civil way to handle this matter. i just dont feel i should have to pay my lawyer to get you chevrolet to fix your mistake...and why is it a a 2017 chev 2500 had defective airbags put into it when your company knew of the problem in 2016. you chevrolet sold myself and many others that 2017 truck as a safe dependeble vehical for 63,000 dollars it was not safe i had an accident and they did not deploy.
i want to make this very clear im not writting to you because i had a accident . iam writting to you because your product was defective in the event of an accident.., 63,000 dollars may be just change to you corporate chevrolet... but it is not to me iam a widow with two children and i make every dollar i speend .loosing this truck because of your neglegence is just unexceptible...... thank you caroll ann coleman firstname.lastname@example.org
