The contact owns a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The contact stated while driving uphill at an undisclosed speed with a trailer hitched to the vehicle, the vehicle downshifted inadvertently, which caused the trailer to fishtail. The contact stated that he lost control of the vehicle, and he was able to slowly regain control of the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure had been recurring while driving. The vehicle was taken to an unknown dealer, where the cause of the failure could not be determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 110,000. The VIN was not available.
