Silverado 3500 SLT V8 Duramax

  • Automatic transmission
  • 98,000 miles

Cp4 fuel pump went out on my Duramax and I may have to have the engine replaced and the complete fuel system replaced. In the meantime I pay $900 a month for insurance and my Duramax which I can not drive! There's a class action lawsuit but it started in early 2019 and still is not settled! I need a running truck so I can get to work and support my family!

It would have been nice to be informed about the faulty fuel pump so I could have the option to replace it before it destroyed my engine.

My current situation: 1.broke down truck with 98000 miles on it 2.truck note $750/month for 2 more years 3.truck insurance $150/month 4.$8000.00 to $20,000.00 to repair/replace fuel system/engine.

Anyone else having this problem? Have a solution? I can't be the only one who sees this as a problem!
