Transmission shifts hard into gear when slowing down and extremely hard when towing 2,000lb empty trailer, currently at dealership to have new torque converter and pump installed. Dealership stated no metal shavings in transmission they believe. When accelerating engine rpms increase while vehicle speed decreases. Stereo constantly disconnects from wifi when streaming music. Wifi will continue to work for other devices. Voice commands work 80%ish of the time.

As I was driving on a city street high speed limit all the sudden all the warning dash lights came on although the engine is running, I didn't understand it tried to slow down and had to apply a lot of pressure to the brake pedal. I did not understand it. When I stopped the lights went out. I turned off the vehicle with the key and started it again. A couple days later I remotely started my vehicle but when I got in and turn the key on the lights did not go off immediately as they normally do.

The ambient temperature sensor doesn't work. It does not read the correct temperature outside. This impacts the A/C, which does not work properly when the sensor is not reading the correct external temperature. The fairfield Chevrolet service department refuses to acknowledge the issue, let alone fix or replace the sensor. I use my truck on ranches and logging properties where it is literally impossible for me to drive over 20mph for 5 minutes. And when it is 105 degrees and the A/C thinks it is only 65 outside, the A/C does not engage. The service department keeps telling me that they cannot replicate the problem so it must not be real. This is the equivalent of calling me a liar in order to avoid honoring the warranty.

Interior driver side front driver window button not always working. At times when this happens the door ajar is lit, while the door may be shut, it doesn't latch completely. This happens when the vehicle is in motion or in park. This causes the interior lamps to stay on and drain out the battery. I did have it serviced under warranty. Problem was solved, until today 08/10/2018.

When driving at night and shifting into reverse the tailgate camera activates on the dash display at full brightness effectively blinding the driver from seeing anything/any person outside the vehicle as he tries to back up. There is no way to disable or dim the touchscreen during reversing.

Bought 2017 Silverado 1500 ltz new. Backup camera will not dim at night, blinding, makes it difficult to back up, unable to see inside or outside. Been that way since new. It's a safety factor, right now it would be better off without it at night. Salesman at dealership said that's just the way it is. I have three other GM vehicles, all of them have backup cameras that dim with the instrument lighting. I was told there is a service bulletin out there, but the dealer knows nothing about it.

The failure mileage was 19,822.
