A week prior to having to pay $100.00 to fix my seat warmers, I had to pay $100.00 deducible to have another issue with my gear shifter fixed.
My seat warmer on the driver side would not stay on and when you would push it every time it went off it still wouldn't stay on nor would it ever get warm, then about a couple days later the passenger's side started. I took it to the dealership and was advised there was a wiring problem with the seat warmers and they had to be replaced, so another $100.00 for the deducible and another rental car until the part came in.
I've had more problems with this vehicle and it has been ever since I drove it off the lot. Wished something could be done due to all the issues.

Heated seats will not stay on. Not sure if they are even heating up at all since it turns off after about 60 seconds or so. Dealer wants $190 just to diagnose the problem.

I only had the car two weeks before the heated seat stopped working. I bought it used so it's not covered by warranty. I figured it was a fuse or a relay but I'm not sure, was unable to locate the fuse and I can hear the relay turn on and off. I don't want to pay a fortune for something so small if I can fix it myself.

This is just one of many issues that has occurred on this car in less than 2yrs. We love the car but there should not be so many little issues going wrong with it in less than a 2yr period.

Just out of manufactures warranty and it goes out. Push the button, seat begins to heat, off it goes. Keep pushing it every 30 seconds or so, it warms but it continuously turns off. Just figures. We have an extended warranty but it does not cover this. Really cold leather seats are not fun all winter.
I was going to get a new pickup and was leaning toward the GMC . We were at the dealer and almost signed for it but then thought about the seats on my daughters Sonic. This truck also had leather seats and we took a pass on it. They had 2 with cloth but we did not like the color.
After reading the many others having heated seat problems on other GM models I am glad we passed. Maybe we will look again or try a Ford.
(even though I'm in love with the SS now)
Anyone that can help out with a fix for the seat problem my daughter would much appreciate it. (college student no money)
