As a life long GM customer/consumer I expected better of a domestic vehicle. I've had this 2012 Sonic for 19 months now and nothing but trouble as everybody else on this blog has posted. Again I addressed my issues with the dealership that are willing to listen but as everyone on this blogs has been told "its functioning normally as designed'. Cue card reading at its best. I expected GM to stand up to back their products, NOT.

After the last vehicle I owned from Gm 2088 Pontiac Montana SV6 it was in the shop 17 times by the time I reached 50 000 km !!! Leaking tranny lines twice, leaking torque converter main seal, electrical issues, broken rear wiper motor, and finally blown transmission. For my troubles GM gave me $2000.00 towards any new or used car of my choice. Well look what I ended up with. A shiny hunk of crap!

I called my dealer where I purchased the car to arrange for a repair on a recall for the suspension. When dropped the car off I asked them to call me with the cost for the repair of the leaking brake line since it was out of warranty. Yes I drove it out of warranty within a year. I commute to work. I explained to them of the brake fluid on my driveway and the location of the leak and to call me with the cost. They called and said the car was ready for pick-up. I asked for the cost of repair. They said they could not find a leak!! All you had to do was bend over a look to see the leak. They lied to me!!

I called GM Canada and sent them a nasty gram with pics of the issues and how they put my family and my life in danger and cannot believe the GM dealership in Welland, Ontario let a car under their care with explicit instructions given face to face to fix this serious issue, only to give me a bold face lie that there was no leak.

This is what we are subject to after the fact.
