Sonic 1.4L Turbo

My 2013 Sonic clutch just went out. It had a terrible smell (similar to smells you get with a burned electronic component.) The dealer said the clutch needs to be replaced at about $1239. I always drive manual cars, and many over 100K miles and never had to replace the clutch.

My car had other problems as well, just prior to this, they had a broken ECM module, which was replaced under warranty.

In my opinion, the clutch should always last much longer.
