Bought my Sonic brand new off the lot and already was 1 month short of the lemon law in my state covering the fact that I had to replace the water pump and had an oil pan leak the first year of owning the vehicle.

After finding yet another coolant leak on the Sonic, the fourth in two years, it was found that this time the thermostat housing had cracked. A replacement, including coolant and labor cost $378.45. Previously the thermostat housing gasket had been replaced by the dealer for leaking, causing a no heat condition the previous winter.

First my coolant was leaking. Then a week later I noticed oil leaking. It was the oil pan gasket. Then also the crank seal was leaking ..... 3 leaks within a week.

My engine( check light) never notified me when my car was leaking radiator fluid. This could of blown my engine and maybe started a fire putting my family in danger and others. If it wasn’t for the vapor coming out from my hood I won’t even have noticed until something bad happened.
