The contact owns a 2013 Chevrolet Sonic. While the vehicle was stationary, the key was removed from the ignition, but the engine failed to turn off. In addition, the vehicle would not accelerate beyond 5 mph. Furthermore, all of the power windows became inoperative. The dealer (power Chevrolet, 500 sw sublimity blvd, sublimity, Oregon 97385, (866) 928-5319) was made aware of the failures and repaired the wiring in the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures and provided the contact with case numbers: 8-4486719908 and 8-4102065156. The failure mileage was approximately 69,896.
