I purchased my car October 12, 2017 from McCluskey Chevrolet, I was pushed for time to get a car and this was the one I could afford at the time. They had to do a few more repairs, 125 point inspection and whatever else needed to be done before releasing it to me. I didn't get the car until almost November because the service team sent it back out to be put on the lot to be sold, again!. My sales rep found the car and got it to me as soon as possible, 3 days into having the car the battery died on me.. They put a new battery in it for free, but I had to take it back due to a sway bar link being broke... But they did a full inspection, yeah right.... Not long after getting hard plates for the car I was waiting to make a turn a guy hydroplanes into me from the back, his insurance paid for all damages, after that my car started idling rough, so I took my car to the dealership had them check it out they said nothing was wrong with it. I kept up with my maintenance whether it was me doing it myself or going to the dealership. Around May going into June 2018 my car started over heating and well as me discovering the AC doesn't work... The extended warranty paid for the housing unit that was cracked dealership wanted me to pay $360 for a hose, that cost $5 at autozone, that would fix my AC. I shouldn't have to pay and it never worked in the first place, but they made sure everything worked before giving me my car so they say. End of July 2018 my car overheats again while I'm sitting in a traffic jam, it was my coolant hose AND coolant fan (they didn't call about the fan they just did the work without speaking with me). I'm thinking I'm out of the clear with problems with this car, maintenance up to date, then boom around September/October the damn car over heats AGAIN for the 3rd time, mind you I haven't had this car a whole year! Back to the dealership it goes I'm told my extended warranty has ran out (there was almost 83,000 miles on the car when I got it. Due to having to drive a alot because of my job and going out of town I was at about 106,000 miles) and this time it was the water pump. The warranty was over the mileage they say, there's also a "special warranty" on my car that expires when I hit 120,000 miles no one seems to know about. They wanted $600 to do a water pump that I bought brand new myself for about $70 and had my friend put on, we discovered loose screws between a gear.... Got my car back running after 3 months of sitting (hectic schedule) Now back to this idle.... had to give complete hell history sorry, I've never had the check engine light come on besides the 3 times the car over heated and now after changing the spark plugs, my car is riding extremely rough check engine light is flashing, traction light stays on and my car won't go faster than 50mph. I have a mechanic, who told me that with me not having this car a whole two years I shouldn't have had all the problems I've had or having with this car used or not. So far I know I have to now change my ignition coil and boots which I can't do till this weekend so guess who's paying for a car that's just sitting.... I've contacted GM last year about the over heating back to back problem they told me that due to my car age (it just became a 5 year old car 03/19) the manufacturer warranty has expired while in the same breath saying my car was already 5 years old in 2018... I'm pretty much lost on which way to go and getting pretty damn tired of putting money into this car so damn often. If anyone has insight on where I can start I'd appreciate it, I'm seconds past blowing this damn thing up and going back to buying 90's models to hell with this computerized sh*t

Pull from a parking lot onto the road, going under 30 mph, when engine just turned itself off. No sputtering, warning codes thrown, dashboard lights and radio working, no overheating (it was 55F when this happened).

Power Steering shut itself, luckily little traffic was on the road, brakes unresponsive but coasted to a stop and used E-brake. Put in Park, turned key off then on after about 10 seconds, and it started up normal.

No issues on the way home, nor the rest of the day doing errands. Husband ran his Code Meter on the car and nothing showed up.
