This problem is threefold:

In June I was driving to work and my car overheated. I checked coolant which was nearly gone and I replaced it. All good for a day and then the following day it overheated again. Backstory, my two year extended warranty was over by then by a few months and I did not even think I had another one (I did, powertrain). So I drove it to Mr. tire near my job in Clinton, MD at the time cause I had paid down my account with them.

Turned out I needed to get a new water hose and accessories. Totaled roughly 900.00 dollars which filled my account back up. I was so upset and desperate to get it fixed that I okayed the service cause I was soon transferring to a further work location. Being upset I decided to contact Chevy dealer nearby to vent as to why a three year old car would need such expensive repairs so soon. They then tell me the problem would have been covered under powertrain warranty. I hang up and quickly contact Mr tire to cancel, but the work was halfway done and they would/could not stop in the middle so I had to eat it.

They thought that contacting Chevy about what happened would get me the warranty benefit. Worse, I had to take the car right back after first fix cause it still overheated and had to get it done again. In the meantime Chevy repeatedly told me that because I went to Mr. Tire first, I voided the warranty and this went back and forth for over a month. They never even tried to do ANYTHING for me and frankly I will never buy another Chevy.

Worse, a month later, a housing unit for hose attached to radiator has to be replaced by Mr tire for another 200 dollars (said it was different problem). Weirdly Mr tire just had to replace this same part again for me a week ago . Now I have a default malfunction light coming on which may have to do with my exhaust or catalytic converter (more money I don't have on a car barely 4 years old. I will never buy another Chevy. Sadly I really enjoyed the car at first but now continue to expect issues and I still 3 more years to pay on it.
