car tries to start without key in ignition and sometime does
On the 25 of august took car to davidson chevy of rome because everytime i took the keys out of the ignition the car would try to start without key in it and one time it did start without key. Davidson lookedt it and then said it didnt do it for them and nothing was wrong that they could find. No more problems this day. On 26 of august keys out of ignition car dinging like the keys were in the innition.Only happened once. 27 august no problems with car . The 28 of august after shuting car off and removeing key the car attempted to start about 15 times. Then it was ok after putting key in ignition and removeing numerous times. AUGUST 30 I got home and went into the house. about 1hour later i went outsidefor air and heard the car attempting to start no keys in it. i dont no how long it had been tring to start. The only way i could get it to shut down was to remove battery cable. August 31 went to davison chey in rome with problem again . They said sorry cant have anyone look at it today it didnt seem to matter to them that i had to remove battery cable each time i park the car. They then made me a appt. of 9am sept 1 I am not very happy with this car or with the chevy people. Anyways i will update you on results of the appt. as to what they did if anything. thanks for listening everyone.

Many major problems with this vehicle including but not limited to ignition switch, air bags not deploying, electrical pproblrms, car not accelerating while driving, sealbelt problems, door locking and unlocking problems and the list goes on.
Nonrelated... There is no spare tire!!!!
What a pain in the neck. I had a flat and had no spare... in a brand new car. I was stranded.

I had problem with the ignition switch when it was under warranty, the Chevy dealership (David Maus) said it just needed lubricant, so now the same damn problem, ignition switch will NOT turn on with key, this will be the last purchase of a Chevrolet, never again.
Update from Aug 1, 2017: Dealership replaced all parts associated with this failure, no charge said it was covered by Chevrolet.
