This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Chevrolet dealer.
AC does not always seem to be working, there was a recall, but even before the recall I took it in to the dealer and had them check it out, they told me it was ok. I then got a recall notice and before I could make an appointment, I had another problem with transmission, and had to take it in, I ask about the AC recall, I was told they would take care of that too, however it was not listed on my invoice and also not much was done with the transmission problem. Still doesn't seem to be very cool on hot days.

After taking home our brand new Spark on July 8 and only having the vehicle 3 weeks, the Chevy garage call us for repairs for our first recall #14076. They had our vehicle over a week and a half and finally we made our second phone call and found out that it was ready for pick up. The service manager said they replaced the pistons as they were too small for the engine. How can that happen? If I am not mistaken there are 2 or 3 more recalls to be fix, not sure because receiving a letter is not always correct and neither calling GM as they are not sure either.
After the repairs from the first recall a/c system was tested and air was working fine. it looks like we will be seeing the Chevy garage a lot before this year comes to end.

My car is only 4 years old with approximately 19,500 miles. The AC was blowing hot air. My mechanic said that there's a recall on the vehicle and that I need to take it into the dealership. He charged it up and said it might be a temporary fix, cost: $85. My car is not that old, I shouldn't be having major issues like this already.
