This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Chevrolet dealer.
I don't know enough about cars to know if this is normal or not, but it's a real pain pulling into traffic, not know if the car will go if I press on the accelerator.

Car is less than 1 year old and when I shift into first there is "sever hesitation". The car starts shaking. It only happens after I've driven the car for some time (i.e. 30 minutes). I dropped the car off at Velenti Chevy in Wallingford CT and their findings was "there was no problem". But that doesn't surprise me. After sitting in their lot overnight it usually has no problem. They told me to bring it in when I have the problem. So I drove it around on a Saturday and went there when the problem started, Sure enough their response was "we have no one available today to check it".
So I'm still in the same position where every day driving home from work I'm having problems but I still don't have Chevy convinced that there is a problem.

I have taken the car to the shop many times and they tell me it dosen't happen when they drive it..I'm afraid driving in heavy traffic and the car loses pressure..

Car doesn't engage when you accelerate from a stop and it also happens when you slow down to make a turn. Its wise to give yourself plenty of time if crossing a busy intersection. I don't feel completely safe and that was one of the biggest reasons I bought this particular small car, because of the hype I got from the salesman about its safety rating, very disappointed.

When running the A/C & making a left turn the car is so slow to go! I've been scared a few times as oncoming traffic almost hit me due to car being so slow.

Brand new car with less than 500 miles and was told "factory installed wrong piston(s) so engine needs to be rebuilt. REALLY???? Sorry I ever bought a Chevrolet product. The car is cute and handles nice when its not missing and is easy to park. All my driving is just around town but the best gas mileage I've gotten was 24.5 mpg. I didn't expect a "fast" car but I didn't expect to have problems before even 500 miles on it. Wish I had bought the Fiat Pop that I looked at first.

I noticed the hesitation weeks after I brought it home. I kept telling service person something funny happens when I stop and go. Last service visit was told I most likely not giving enough gas. You need to gun IT. Tried it many times but nothing changed. Know how to explain what goes on with car.
