The contact owns a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban 1500. The contact stated when traveling at speeds between 3 to 10 mph, the ABS would independently activate. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for repairs under NHTSA campaign id number: 07E106000 (wheels: Cap/cover/hub). The remedy stated the dealer was to pull the speed sensor, clean the rust and reinstall the speed sensor. The contact stated after repairs, the failure recurred. The dealer advised the vehicle could be repaired but at the contacts expense. The vehicle was not further repaired. The failure and current mileages were 50,200.

-the contact owns a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban. While driving at 55 mph the contact heard a grinding noise coming from the front passenger wheel. The vehicle was taken to the mechanic. The wheel hub assembly had to be replaced. When she attempts to apply the brakes, the vehicle slides at first and eventually stops. She has experienced this failure numerous times. The vehicle had not been taken to the dealer again as of this date. The current mileage was 79,200. The failure mileage was 79,007. Updated 4/23/08
