This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Chevrolet dealer.
Suburban did the hot air on the passenger side twice while driving over a period of several months. Started out on drive with it working and then it went to hot air. A restart of the car corrected the problem those two times. Had the battery replaced and when I picked up the car it was blowing hot on passenger side. Dealer repaired problem in three hours or so. Almost $800 for some stupid door and labor. What a rip. Almost wish I would have taken out the extended warranty.

Periodically in the summer months the front passenger A/C blows hot air. To correct I have to shut the car off and restart which will reset the A/C and temporarily solve the problem.

The passenger is very uncomfortable during the summer months - it gets hot in Texas - the dealer has looked at it twice and say they cannot get the vehicle to duplicate the problem - I think the problem may be with the dealer - I know a man that had this same problem and on his first visit to his dealer they replaced a relay switch and that solved the problem

the Chevrolet Suburban nice size suv poor quality , the truck has been in the shop 3 times with the air conditioner blowing hot air the first time they changed the relay switch, the second time they could not duplicate the problem of the compressor going off and on, if you ask me they are to lazy to open the hood and watch, or clueless one, and now the third time they still cannot duplicate the problem but said the control head was bad, now they are gong to replace that we will see , it will be a miracle if this solves the problem, i believe it is the compressor, and they do not want to dig in their own pockets to fix the thing, at least our shop in okc, next step attorney.
