problem #2

Suburban LT V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 45,000 miles

I had 6 batteries die in this car within a year. Luckily, I only had to pay for 1 battery, but it still was a real problem. This happened for a year or so and then stopped. The original battery was bulged out heavily when it was removed from the car. I have never seen anything like it.

Suburban Z71 5.3L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 75,000 miles

This is my third, and last, Suburban with each vehicle less reliable than the last. Steering column thump, leaking transmission seals and electrical short which runs battery down without warning. Speedometer is inoperative and oil gauge works most of the time. Dealer has no interest in helping me solve these "typical" Suburban issues unless I take out a second home mortgage.
