In my Chevrolet Suburban the heated seats have stopped staying on and heating the seats. I turned the driver seat on coming home from a trip recently and it got so hot it caused a smell and left a brown burn mark on the outside of the seat next to my back. My son has an Avalanche truck and his have stopped working as well.

Suburban LT 5.3L

Driver's power bucket seat quit working, then it started working again after a few weeks but the buttons are now all reversed (so if you want to slide the seat forward, you press the power button back, and vice versa).

Apparently something is wrong with the wiring, but I'm scared to even get a quote to have it repaired by the dealer based on the many other CHRONIC PROBLEMS I've experienced with this lemon!
